By visiting the site, creating an account or using any of its features you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

IITM Code Vistara is an independent, unofficial study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by IIT Madras or the IIT Madras BS Degree program. Nothing on the site is an official communication, grade, result or ruling. See the Disclaimer.

• You must give a real email address that you control, and keep your password private.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us at once if you think it has been misused.
• One person should use one account. Do not share or sell accounts.
• We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or is used to harm the site or other users.

You agree not to:

• try to read, copy in bulk or extract the question bank or answer keys by automated means, or to get around the sign-in and rate limits;
• attack, overload, probe or interfere with the site, its servers or other users;
• upload anything unlawful, harmful or misleading through the Contact form, or send spam;
• use the site to cheat in any real examination, or to help anyone else do so;
• copy the site or its notes and republish them as your own, or sell them.

The design, code and our own written notes, explanations and diagrams belong to the operator of the site. You may read them and use them for your own study, and you may link to any page. You may not republish them elsewhere, or sell them, without our written permission.

Examination questions and course material originate from IIT Madras and its instructors, who remain their owners. They are shown here only to help students practise. Trademarks and names, including "IIT Madras" and "IITM", belong to their owners and are used only to say which program the site is about.

If you own content that appears on the site and want it changed or removed, or you think something on the site infringes your rights, write to support@iitmcodevistara.com with the page address, what you own, and how we can reach you. We will look at it promptly and remove or correct anything that should not be there.

We work hard to keep papers, answer keys, notes and calculators correct, but mistakes can happen, and the program's rules and papers change. Content is provided for practice and revision. Always check the official IIT Madras portal and documents before you rely on a date, a rule, a grade or a mark.

The site may display advertisements and uses services from other companies, such as Google. We are not responsible for what advertisers or other websites offer, and any dealing you have with them is between you and them.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without any promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. We do not promise that using it will improve your marks or result in any grade.

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator of the site is not liable for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, arising from your use of the site or from relying on its content, including a wrong answer key, a calculator result or a period when the site is unavailable.

We may change, pause or remove any part of the site, and may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the courts located in India, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
